Add the vehicle later, or change it (Part B)

An e-way bill can be made with Part A only and the vehicle added later, and the vehicle must be updated if the goods change trucks. This part makes the portal's vehicle update file.

Step by step

1. Open Add the vehicle later (Part B).
2. Fill the rows. E-way bill number (12 digits), vehicle number, Vehicle starts from (place), Reason (Break down, Transhipment, Others with a remark, First time).
3. Download vehicle update file. On the portal upload it under the bulk vehicle update.

Worked example

Truck PB10AB1234 breaks down at Ambala; goods move to HR55K7788. Row: EWB 3311 2244 5566, vehicle HR55K7788, starts from Ambala, reason Break down.

Common mistakes and how to fix them

• 11-digit e-way bill number. It has 12 digits.
